GATE 2026 Result: If you have appeared for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) examination, there is good news for you. IIT Guwahati is set to release the examination results today, March 19. The GATE 2026 results can now be checked on the official portal. Candidates must log in via GOAPS to view and download their scorecards.

Students who appeared for the exam can check their GATE 2026 results on the official website. Candidates can easily check their results online by visiting the official website: gate2026.iitg.ac.In the eyes of the students who participated in the exam, the cutoff scores are now fixed. Students have various questions and queries regarding the GATE 2026 cutoff marks.

What were the previous cutoff scores?

Before the GATE exam results are released, everyone’s attention is focused on the cutoff scores. In the GATE 2025 examination, the cutoff for the General category averaged 25-29.2 marks. Additionally, the cutoff for OBC and EWS categories was approximately 24–26 marks, while for SC/ST/PWD categories, it hovered around 18–20 marks. For Computer Science, the cutoff was 29.2 marks. These cutoff scores are out of 100 marks.

How ​​to check the GATE exam results 2026

To check your results, you must first visit the official IIT website: gate2026.iitg.ac.in

On the homepage, navigate to the ‘Result’ section, where you will find the ‘GATE 2026 Result Download’ link.

As soon as students click this link, a dashboard for checking results will open.

Enter your Enrollment ID and Password details.

Your GATE 2026 scorecard will appear on your screen.

You can then check your marks online and either print a copy or save the scorecard as a PDF for future reference.

How to Check the GATE 2026 Final Answer Key

Visit the official website: gate2026.iitg.ac.in
Open the Candidate Login Portal (GOAPS).
Enter your Enrollment ID and Password.
Click on the ‘Submit’ button.
The GATE 2026 Answer Key will appear on your screen.
Download the answer key and print it out.
