IMD Rain Alert: According to IMD, a warning has been issued regarding thunderstorm and rain in the national capital Delhi today, i.e. Wednesday (June 4). IMD has predicted thunderstorms and rain in the city on Wednesday. Currently, an alert has been issued regarding rain, thunderstorms, and strong winds in most cities across the country. The Meteorological Department has predicted a maximum of 34 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 23 degrees Celsius in Delhi today.
The monsoon has hit many states across the country, while floods have created havoc in the northeastern states. Apart from this, due to continuous torrential rains in Manipur, Assam, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Imphal Valley and surrounding areas, life has become completely disrupted.
The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert in 11 states, including Punjab, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. On the other hand, a red alert has been issued in Assam and Meghalaya. Due to continuous rainfall in Uttarakhand, the situation is worsening, making it increasingly difficult for people to live. Flood-like conditions have arisen in many places.

Rain warning in Bihar and Jharkhand
According to the Meteorological Department, light rain is expected in some places of Bihar, Jharkhand, and West Bengal. Apart from this, there is a possibility of rain at some places in Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, and Chhattisgarh from June 4 to 7.

IMD has issued a red alert for Assam and Meghalaya. A warning of heavy to hefty rain has been issued for the coming week. Similar warnings have been issued for Nagaland, Mizoram, Manipur and Tripura.
