Monsoon Alert: The rainy season is currently underway in many states across the country. Flood-like conditions have been created in many states across the country due to heavy rainfall. At the same time, the humid heat in Delhi-NCR is making life difficult for the people. The India Meteorological Department estimates that heavy rain warnings have been issued in most of the states of the country between July 28 and August 3.
There is also a possibility of heavy rain in some areas. The fierce form of monsoon can be seen in the coming days. According to the IMD, hefty rains can be recorded at some places in eastern Rajasthan on July 28.
Delhi Weather Update
According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), there is a possibility of rain in Delhi NCR, Punjab and Haryana on July 28. Apart from this, intermittent rains have been observed in Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurgaon, and Faridabad, including Greater Noida, until August 2.
Rain warning in many districts of Uttar Pradesh
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Delhi-NCR is expected to remain cloudy on July 28. Heavy rain is possible in many areas. A rain alert has been issued in many districts of Uttar Pradesh. Apart from this, heavy rain with thunder and lightning may occur in many districts, including Meerut, Saharanpur, Bijnor, Muzaffarnagar, Hapur, Rampur, and Bulandshahr.
Rain warning in these states
According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rainfall may be observed in some areas of eastern Rajasthan from July 28 to 31. Apart from this, heavy rain can be observed in the western Himalayan region from 29 to 31 July. Heavy rain is expected to occur in west Uttar Pradesh on July 28 and in Uttarakhand from July 28 to 30. Heavy rain is expected in Himachal Pradesh on July 29. Over the next 7 days, light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning may be observed in some areas of the Western Himalayan region.
Heavy rain is expected to occur in various places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura on August 1 and 2. Apart from this, thunderstorms may arise in many places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya from 28 July to 2 August.
Heavy rain is expected to occur in various places in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh from July 28 to 31. Rain is expected in Bihar from July 28 to 30.
