A brief rain shower in Delhi-NCR on Saturday has provided relief to the people from the heat. According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain may occur on Sunday. Till August 27, thunderstorms and drizzle can be seen in Delhi and the surrounding areas.

Rain warning in Uttar Pradesh

According to the Meteorological Department, an alert has been issued regarding heavy rains in many districts of UP on Sunday, August 24. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in about 40 districts, including Lucknow, Ayodhya, Mathura, Agra, and Etawah. There will be rain at many places in western UP, while there is a possibility of heavy showers with thunderstorms almost everywhere in eastern UP.

Uttarakhand weather

Continuous heavy rains have caused havoc in Uttarakhand. A forecast of heavy to very heavy rains has been issued for Dehradun, Tehri, Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Bageshwar, and Nainital. The Meteorological Department has advised people to be alert.

Weather warning in Bihar

Monsoon is fully active in Bihar at this time. Torrential rains have been witnessed in many districts, including Patna, Bhojpur, and Vaishali. A flood-like situation has developed in Nalanda and Jehanabad. According to the weather department, today on 24th August, Sunday, there will be heavy rain in Siwan, Saran, Bhojpur, Buxar and Gaya.

Rain warning in these states

An alert has been issued due to heavy rain in southern Rajasthan until August 26. Heavy rain is also expected in Gujarat until 29th August. At the same time, there is a possibility of heavy rain in the Konkan and central parts of Maharashtra until August 29th. Especially on August 27th and 28th, there may be torrential rain at many places.
