New Delhi: The weather pattern across various regions of the country appears to be shifting completely towards overcast conditions. Over the past day, many parts of North India witnessed overcast skies accompanied by drizzle and strong winds. This certainly brought about a slight moderation in temperatures, offering people relief from the scorching heat. As for the hilly states, rain and snowfall have caused temperatures to plummet.
Weather conditions in several states are expected to remain adverse for the next three days, until April 7. The weather is likely to remain unsettled in many parts of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Adverse weather conditions are also anticipated in Rajasthan.

Thunderstorm and Rain Warning for These Districts in UP
According to the Meteorological Department, a warning for heavy rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning has been issued for Ghazipur, Azamgarh, Mau, Ballia, Deoria, and Gorakhpur.
In addition to these, heavy rainfall has also been indicated for Sant Kabir Nagar, Basti, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, and Siddharthnagar. A warning for rain accompanied by thunder and lightning has been issued for Gonda, Balrampur, Shravasti, and Ambedkar Nagar. There is also a possibility of lightning strikes in these areas.

Weather Outlook for Rajasthan
According to the Meteorological Department, a warning for heavy rainfall has been issued for several divisions of Rajasthan over the next three days. For April 5, the IMD has issued a rain alert—accompanied by winds gusting at speeds of 40–50 km/h—for Jaipur, Ajmer, Bharatpur, Kota, Udaipur, and Bikaner.
For April 6, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding a change in weather conditions for the districts of Jaipur, Kota, Udaipur, and Ajmer, as well as certain parts of Jodhpur and Bikaner. Indications suggest the likelihood of thunderstorms and squalls in these areas. In addition to this, on April 7, under the influence of a Western Disturbance, heavy rainfall accompanied by storms is likely across the Jodhpur, Bikaner, Ajmer, Jaipur, Udaipur, and Kota divisions. An alert has been issued for winds gusting between 50 and 60 km/h, along with the possibility of hailstorms in some locations.

Warning for Heavy Rainfall in These States
According to the Meteorological Department, an alert for rain accompanied by thunder and lightning has been issued for Central India, valid until April 7. As per the IMD, rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is expected in Arunachal Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal. Meanwhile, hailstorms are possible in East Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh, and Madhya Maharashtra.
