Gold Rate Weekly Update: Gold prices in India have witnessed an upward trend on a weekly basis. The rates for gold continue to fluctuate. Notably, over the past week, the price of 24-carat gold has risen by ₹2,860. Meanwhile, the rate for 22-carat gold has increased by ₹2,600. It is worth noting that in the futures market, gold reached an all-time high of ₹180,779 per 10 grams on January 29.
According to the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the price of 24-carat gold had declined to ₹146,608 per 10 grams by the close of the market on Thursday. The market remains closed on Friday due to Good Friday and on Saturday and Sunday due to the weekly holidays; therefore, these rates apply to all three days.
