Jammu Kashmir Accident: A tragic accident has happened in the Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir. A CRPF vehicle has crashed near Kandwa in the Basantgarh area of Udhampur district. 2 soldiers have been martyred in this accident, and 12 others have been injured. The injured soldiers have been admitted to the hospital.

As soon as the information about the accident was received, local people and police immediately reached the spot. Additional SP of Udhampur, Sandeep Bhatt, said that the police have immediately started the rescue operation, and the injured soldiers have also been admitted to the hospital. He said that two soldiers have died and 12 are injured in this accident. The exact cause of the accident is not yet known.

According to Additional SP of Udhampur Sandeep Bhatt, a total of 23 soldiers were in the CRPF bunker vehicle. Jammu and Kashmir’s Lieutenant Governor Jitendra Singh shared a post on the social media platform X and wrote – Udhampur:
Disturbing to receive the news of a road accident involving a CRPF vehicle in the Kandva–Basantgarh area. The vehicle was carrying several brave jawans of the CRPF. I have just now spoken to DC Ms. Saloni Rai, who is personally monitoring the situation and keeping me updated. Rescue measures have been initiated immediately. Locals have voluntarily come forward to help. All possible help is being ensured.
