ISI Plot Exposed: 8 Suspects Arrested, Links to Bangladesh Uncovered

New Delhi: Indian intelligence agencies have uncovered a major terrorist plot orchestrated by the ISI and arrested eight suspects. In a joint operation, security agencies arrested six terrorists from Tamil Nadu and two from West Bengal.

All the arrested suspects were reportedly in contact with the Pakistani ISI and the Bangladeshi terrorist network, plotting against India. The six suspects detained from Tamil Nadu have been brought to New Delhi for interrogation, where major revelations are expected. Most notably, a Bangladeshi is among the arrested suspects, who were operating in India using fake documents.

Identification of the Suspects

According to intelligence information, the six suspects arrested from Tamil Nadu have been identified as Mizanur Rahman, Mohammad Shabat, Umar, Mohammad Liton, Mohammad Shahid, and Mohammad Ujjal. Two suspects were arrested from West Bengal.

The terrorists wanted to terrorise India.

Initial investigations revealed that the arrested accused had formed an organised module and was preparing to carry out a major attack in India. They were receiving constant instructions from their handlers across the border. During the raid, investigating agencies recovered dozens of mobile phones, numerous SIM cards, and digital devices.
