Monsoon Forecast: The sun’s glare has made life difficult in most parts of India. The heat has started in April in the northern states as well. The heat of May and June remains. Due to Western Disturbance, there may be rain in Delhi and the surrounding areas. The northeastern states can also see a period of rain once again. Due to late-night rain in some parts of South India, the temperature level dropped. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rain for the next three days. A rain warning in these parts
According to IMD, due to the Western Disturbance, rain is expected in the Himalayan areas between 24 25 and 26 April. A period of rain can start in many northern states. Additionally, winds are expected to blow at speeds of 50 to 60 km per hour in the northeastern states. An alert has been issued for rain with lightning and thunder.
A warning has been issued for heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms in Assam, Meghalaya, and Arunachal Pradesh, and is expected to persist for the next 7 days. Apart from this, an alert for heavy rain has been issued for the next three days in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura, where people may face significant trouble.
Heat and rain alert in South India
According to the Indian Meteorological Department, the heat is expected to increase further in South India in the coming days. There is a possibility of relief for a few days in between. According to the report, heavy rains are expected in Karnataka, coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Yanam on the border with the Royal Kingdom.
Along with this, a warning has been issued for heavy rains in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal for the next 7 days. There is a possibility of thunderstorms accompanied by heavy rain here. Winds can also blow at speeds of 50 to 60 kilometres per hour.
Heat will increase in these areas
According to IMD, a severe heatwave is likely in Maharashtra from April 29, as well as in Jharkhand and West Bengal, until April 26. Apart from this, a heat wave is expected in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, and Maharashtra until April 29.
