New Delhi: Jagdeep Dhankhar, who resigned from the post of Vice President before completing his term, citing ill health, was admitted to AIIMS Hospital on Monday. According to officials, he had fainted twice last week. Following this, doctors advised him to be admitted to the hospital as a precautionary measure and undergo various tests, including an MRI.
Dhankhar had reportedly fainted twice while going to the washroom on January 10th. He had arrived at the hospital on Monday for a scheduled check-up, but given his poor health, the decision was made to admit him. This is not the first time Dhankhar has faced such health issues in public life. He had previously fainted due to illness while serving as Vice President.
