The military administration plans to include candidates with an NCC C certificate directly in the recruitment rally. Even if the military administration approves this, those with an NCC C certificate can fulfil their dream of becoming an Agniveer without giving a written exam. A consensus was reached in the meeting of military officers
In the meeting of military officers held in Lucknow, the capital of UP, the Agniveer recruitment process has been discussed in detail. Proper consideration has been given to make Agniveer recruitment easier and more attractive. Many important points of the recruitment process were discussed in this meeting.
In this, it has been learnt that there has been a discussion on suggestions like calling NCC C certificate holders directly to the rally and removing the minimum marks requirement for candidates who have passed 10th and 12th. There is no statement yet on when these changes can be implemented. If we believe the information received from sources can be implemented in the upcoming Agniveer recruitment.
Know what is NCC C Certificate?
The National Cadet Corps (NCC) issues this certificate at three levels.
‘A’ certificate is for junior division, while a ‘B’ certificate is valid for intermediate level. Talking about the ‘C’ certificate, it is for degree level. A certificate is given to those candidates who can score more than 50 per cent marks, along with completing the prescribed training. Through this, it works to get an exemption in recruiting paramilitary forces and police.
