Bihar election 2025: Before the Bihar assembly elections, there is a lot of uproar regarding the special intensive revision of the voter list. The draft list of intensive revision has been released, in which the names of 65 lakh people have been removed. After this action of the Election Commission, the opposition political parties are attacking the BJP.
Opposition parties allege that the BJP and smaller NDA parties want to take advantage in the elections by making changes to the voter list. On the other hand, the Election Commission claimed that complete transparency has been maintained in removing the names of the people. Political parties have also been given a chance to register objections till September 1. However, no objection has been registered yet.

The Election Commission has also handed over the list of names removed from the voter list in the special intensive revision to the political parties. After the phase of counting of voters, which lasted till July 25, the draft voter list of Bihar was received on August 1. All the district collectors of Bihar have prepared this list for 90712 polling stations.
The Election Commission clarified that a separate list of names of those whose names were removed from the draft list has been prepared. This list has also been made available to political parties so that they can check it. Along with this, the Election Commission, claiming transparency in the process, said that it has also been widely publicised in newspapers, TV and social media.
The Election Commission said that work is being done to organise special camps running from 10 am to 5 pm every day till September 1 in the block, zonal office and urban bodies’ offices.
Announcement of elections soon

For information, let us tell you that after releasing the final voter list, the Election Commission can also announce the dates of the elections. There is a strong possibility of elections in October and November. The Election Commission can announce the election program on any day of September.
