Flagship Power with Snapdragon 8 Elite 2

The nucleus of the Redmi K90 Pro will be Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 (SM8850) processor. This new-generation processor is set to bring massive performance, efficiency, and an AI processing boost. By doing so, Redmi is making the K90 Pro a legitimate flagship player that can easily power high-end gaming, multitasking, and resource-intensive apps.

Periscope Zoom: First on the K-Series

For the first time in the K-series for Redmi, the K90 Pro will include a periscope telephoto camera. In contrast to the regular zoom lens present on the K80 Pro, the K90 Pro will include the ability for longer optical zoom. It is reported to include a 50-megapixel OmniVision OV50Q sensor with a large 1/1.3-inch sensor size for enhanced performance in low-light conditions and high-resolution shots at a distance.

Premium Design and Audio Upgrades

The K90 Pro isn’t only about performance, it also breaks new ground when it comes to design. The leak indicates the phone will have a metal unibody frame for added sturdiness. It will also boast symmetrical dual stereo speakers for immersive sound and a large X-axis linear motor for more powerful haptic feedback, both important for an improved user experience in gaming and media consumption.

Ultrasonic Fingerprint and Display Highlights

Yet another high-end addition is the inclusion of a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint reader, providing quicker and more secure unlocking than optical readers. The front of the K90 Pro will probably feature a 6.59-inch RGB OLED LTPS flat screen with 2K resolution and silky-smooth 120Hz refresh rate. This configuration guarantees crisp visuals and silky-smooth animations, making it perfect for both daily operations and gaming.

China-Exclusive or Global Launch as Poco F8 Ultra

Like most Redmi flagship phones, the K90 Pro is likely to be exclusive to the Chinese market. But worldwide users may not be left behind either. The same phone could be refurbished and released outside China under the name of Poco F8 Ultra, enabling Redmi to tap into a larger audience with its fresh flagship hardware.
