Vivo V60: Vivo will refresh its V-series line with the next Vivo V60, which has just been seen on several certification sites. Vivo had already launched the V50, V50e, V50 Lite 5G, and V50 Lite (4G) this year but skipped the Pro model altogether. Now, it appears the company is jumping directly to the next model with the V60, and it might well dub it the new gold standard for mid-premium handsets.

New generation with certificates

Vivo V60 model V2511 has also received certificates from Malaysia’s SIRIM and Germany’s TUV, which verify its launch soon. Both certificates validate that Vivo is soon going to launch the phone globally. The phone has also been included in Europe’s EEC certification list, validating its plans for global launch.

Fast 90W charging support unveiled

Amongst the leaks, the TUV certification stands out to reveal one of the Vivo V60’s specifications, the 90W fast-charging phone. This places it among the fastest-charging phones in its class, something that power users and heavy users might be interested in. Some features, like display, performance, and design, however, remain to be officially announced.

Expected to be a Vivo S30 rebrand

Going by Vivo’s past, the forthcoming V60 might be a rehashed or tweaked variant of the Vivo S30 that was launched in China in May 2025. Based on speculation, the Vivo V60 could feature a 6.67-inch OLED display at 1.5K resolution and silky-smooth 120Hz refresh rate. That would rank it among the superior display choices in the midrange.

Expected to be powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 4

Inside, the Vivo V60 is anticipated to be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. In China, the S30 comes with this processor paired with as much as 16GB LPDDR4x RAM and 512GB UFS 2.2 storage, and the same line of configurations might be expected worldwide. Such a hardware configuration would provide seamless performance for basic functions and casual gaming.

Dual 50MP sensors and a huge battery in preparation

From the optical aspect, the Vivo V60 must be equipped with a 50MP front-facing autofocus lens, and at the back, a dual combination of a 50MP primary OIS sensor and a 50MP ultra-wide lens. A huge 6,000mAh battery paired with 90W fast charging could provide longer battery life and quick top-offs, making the V60 attractive to endurance- and speed-motivated users as well.

Launch expected before August 2025

Given how the Vivo V50 was released in February of this year, the V60 launch may be imminent, perhaps by August 2025. With certification procedures almost over, the official unveiling shouldn’t be far off now.
