According to media reports,this magical electric avatar is set to take the roads by storm in May 2026. Initially planned for early 2027,Tata has now postponed its launch. With a claimed range of 538 km and a futuristic design,this SUV is poised to be the most successful electric vehicle of 2026.
Battery and Range

The Tata Sierra EV could be launched with two powerful battery options,making it a powerful long-distance companion. The first option could be a 55 kWh battery pack inspired by the Tata Curve EV,delivering a robust 167 PS of power and a claimed range of approximately 502 km. Another option for high-end customers will be the 65kWh battery pack,which can be borrowed from the Harrier EV. It delivers a full range of 538 km and a robust 238 PS,allowing you to enjoy luxurious rides without any significant range concerns. Tata Motors aims to create a powerful machine that can reliably cover over 500 km on a single charge.
Futuristic Design and Look
The Tata Sierra EV teaser perfectly showcases its sleek and robust design,featuring a strong high bonnet and flat front bumper. Newly designed aero alloy wheels and a connected LED light bar at the rear make it a completely modern vehicle. The Sierra EV will be produced at its robust Sanand plant in Gujarat,and is expected to have a starting price of approximately ₹20 lakh (ex-showroom).
