Oppo Pad SE: Oppo is ready to introduce its new tablet, Oppo Pad SE, for people who need entertainment and productivity in a single product without burning a hole in their pockets. It comes with a minimalist build, support for Android 15, and a huge battery. It is designed for students as well as occasional users. The tablet will be available in India soon, and before its launch, complete information such as specifications and design has already been shared.
Design and Display
Oppo Pad SE has a wafer-thin profile measuring 7.4mm thick and weighing 527 grams, ensuring it is easy to carry and handle. It boasts an 11-inch IPS LCD screen with a 1200×1920 pixel resolution. It offers 1 billion color support and a 90Hz refresh rate, and the tablet is guaranteed to deliver smooth visuals and rich color output. It also hits 500 nits of peak brightness, which is more than enough for indoor and light outdoor use.
Performance and Software
The tablet is run by the MediaTek Helio G100 chipset designed on a 6nm process, providing solid mid-range performance. It features an octa-core CPU comprising Cortex-A76 and Cortex-A55 cores. Mali-G57 MC2 GPU is responsible for graphics. The tablet features Android 15 with Oppo’s proprietary ColorOS 15 user interface, which introduces fresh software features as well as enhanced multitasking.
Storage Options
Oppo Pad SE is available in three variants, namely 128GB with 6GB RAM, 128GB with 8GB RAM, and 256GB with 8GB RAM. The storage is UFS 2.2 based for efficient data access. It does not have a microSD card slot, and therefore users need to select their storage variant judiciously depending on their requirements.
Camera Features
The tablet features a standard camera configuration appropriate for video chats and document scanning. It comes with a 5MP rear camera with 1080p video recording support. For selfies and video calls, there is a 5MP front camera. Camera performance should be decent but good enough for a tablet in this category.
Audio and Connectivity
Oppo Pad SE has stereo speakers for an enhanced multimedia experience, but it does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack. Wireless connectivity is provided by dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.4. The tablet does not have GPS, NFC, or FM Radio support, which can be a drawback for users.
Battery and Charging
The tablet is equipped with a huge 9340mAh battery that will easily make it through a day of mixed usage. It charges with 33W wired charging with PD and UFCS standards, meaning that it recharges very quickly. This makes it a good choice for students and light users who require long-term performance on a single charge.
Stylus Support and Other Features
Oppo Pad SE is also stylus-supporting, making it more useful for note-taking, drawing, and learning. It has accelerometer and proximity sensor support for accessories. The USB Type-C 2.0 port serves for charging and data transfer.
Available Colors and Estimated Pricing
Oppo Pad SE will come in Blue and Silver colors. It will hit the stores on May 23, 2025. The price is approximately €110, which is a budget-friendly price for the Indian market too. Launch offers and discounts should be known closer to launch.
