The Chinese tech brand has announced on Weibo that the OnePlus Ace 5 series will be introduced in China on December 12 at 2:30 pm local time (noon Indian time). OnePlus’ Weibo post states that the OnePlus Ace 5 will bring an excellent mobile game experience. OnePlus recently shared the first pictures of the OnePlus Ace 5, showing its flat display, thin bezels and hole-punch cutout for the selfie shooter.

The base OnePlus Ace 5 will be offered with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, while the Pro variant will come with a Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. OnePlus Ace 5 Pro can have a 6.82-inch 1.5K OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, up to 24GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 onboard storage are expected.
It can have a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor for photography. The phone can have an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. A 16-megapixel front camera can be used for selfies and video calling. The Pro model is likely to have 100W fast charging support.
The company can provide a battery with a typical value of 6415mAh for power backup in the phone. Its rated value will be 6285mAh. This phone will support 80W fast charging. Regarding the design, the phone will have a premium look. It will offer crystal shield glass, a right-angle metal middle frame and a green ceramic body.
