Fueled by Dimensity 9400+ for Peak Performance

At the core of the Ace 5 Extreme is MediaTek’s new Dimensity 9400+ chipset, designed on a new 3nm architecture. The chip comes with a maximum CPU frequency of 3.73GHz and provides 35% more CPU performance and 41% more GPU output. It also provides a 15% increase in power efficiency and an 8% increase in overall gaming performance. Those figures are further boosted by OnePlus’s own Fengchi Gaming Core, a system-level software optimisation built into the chip.

Triple-Chip Design for Competitive Gaming

OnePlus has added a distinctive triple-chip configuration in the Ace 5 Extreme. Along with the Dimensity 9400+, the device accommodates the Lingxi Touch Control Chip and a G1 Wi-Fi gaming dedicated chip. The Lingxi chip supports an astonishing 3000Hz touch response rate and 290Hz sampling for ten-finger input, which is intended to reduce latency and enhance input accuracy, a major benefit for quickly moving competitive games.

Certified for Esports-Level Gameplay

The Ace 5 Extreme has also achieved esports certification from the Peace Elite League (PEL) for being among China’s highest-ranked mobile gaming tournaments. The smartphone has a native 120Hz refresh rate without relying on frame interpolation during games such as MOBAs and open-world games. Even under intensive multitasking scenarios, such as gaming while having a video call, the phone can still run at a solid 120FPS without frame drops.

Impressive Benchmark Scores Reveal Frame Rate Stability

OnePlus announced benchmark test figures with the Ace 5 Extreme recording 118.3 FPS in the 1% Low FPS test, one of the most critical measures of stability through graphically demanding sequences. For comparison, another premium phone managed only 60.8 FPS in the same figure. This demonstrates how the Ace 5 Extreme continues with less interrupted gameplay even in demanding moments such as smoke grenades or team fights.

Designed for Extended Gaming Sessions with Stable Power

The Ace 5 Extreme is designed to sustain more than five hours of non-stop gaming without overheating or performance throttling. With its focus on prolonged output, accurate controls, and less power consumption, OnePlus is squarely aiming at hardcore mobile gamers. The May 27 official launch will reveal more details, but it’s already looking like a monster in the gaming smartphone category.
