Launch Date and Colour Options
OnePlus 13s will be launched officially in India on June 5 at 12 PM IST. It will come in three trendy colour options — Black Velvet, Pink Satin, and Green Silk. Interestingly, the Green Silk model will be unique to Indian buyers, giving it a localised feel to the product line.
Processor and Performance
The phone will be fueled by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, which guarantees flagship performance and multitasking speeds. OnePlus has showcased performance in benchmark tests with stress tests involving games such as Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), where the phone clocked a stable frame rate for seven hours straight, demonstrating superior thermal and power efficiency.
Battery Life and Cooling
OnePlus is marketing the 13s to last anywhere from 24 hours with just one charge when calling over WhatsApp, and 16 hours of browsing on Instagram. This longevity is supported by a 4400 sq mm Cryo-Velocity vapour chamber and another cooling layer at the rear cover, aimed at effective heat dissipation with long-term usage.
Connectivity Features
Connectivity has been upgraded immensely with a reengineered 360-degree antenna system that has 11 antennas. This comprises three high-performance modules and four-mode ultra-wideband low-frequency antennas. The new signal-balance mode enhances signal strength by as much as 60 percent by minimizing obstructions from hand placement.
India-Specific Network Support
OnePlus is releasing a G1 Wi-Fi chipset made for Indian users to offer increased stability and speed even in weak signal zones such as Delhi Metro or elevators. The phone also includes 5.5G technology, which enables the phone to connect to three network cells at a time across different towers to increase connectivity.
Custom Plus Key for Quick Access
In place of the alert slider, the OnePlus 13s has a new Plus key — an easily configurable button offering direct access to features like Sound, Vibration, Do Not Disturb, and AI apps. The feature is intended to give users quicker and easier access to core functions.
