Design and Display: Small But Mighty

Motorola Edge 60 Neo carries a 6.4-inch pOLED screen, slightly below the average of about 6.7 inches on most phones available today. The screen is accompanied by 1.5K resolution, variable 120Hz refresh rate supporting LTPO technology, and up to 3000 nits peak brightness. Motorola has also protected the phone with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i scratch- and drop-resistant protection for security.

To complement its toughness, the phone is MIL-STD 810H certified and IP68 and IP69 rated for providing high-class dust and water resistance. Vegan leather is also employed in the back panel, providing a high-class and environmentally friendly appearance to the phone without the additional weight.

Performance and Hardware: Powered for Daily Use

Internally, Edge 60 Neo is driven by MediaTek Dimensity 7400 SoC, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. This combination ensures silky smooth multitasking and sound performance for the majority of users. The phone also comes with a 5,000mAh battery, 68W wired fast charging, and 15W wireless charging, providing users with convenience and speed in charging.

Camera Setup: Flexible Triple-Lens System

Motorola has placed a triple rear camera setup on the Edge 60 Neo. It consists of a 50MP Sony LYT700C primary, an ultra-wide-angle 12MP camera, and a 10MP telephoto lens that comes with a 3x optical zoom. The camera setup is ready to capture every kind of photography requirement, ranging from wide-angle photography to close-up, detailed zoom photography. The phone also features a 32MP selfie and video conferencing camera, promising to deliver clear and detailed images.

Software and Other Features: Full Package

Released on Android 15 out of the box, Edge 60 Neo brings the newest software experience. Its features include Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 6, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, and an in-display fingerprint scanner for added security. Though rugged in construction, the phone is only 8.09mm thick and weighs a mere 175 grams, so it’s tough and light too.

Motorola is also launching a splash of glamour in four PANTONE-approved colors: Latte, Frostbite, Poinciana, and Grisaille. The device begins at 399 Euros for the 8GB + 128GB model, and the global availability starts in Europe.

Verdict: Small Powerhouse with Luxurious Touch

The Motorola Edge 60 Neo offers a decent balance of strength, performance, and price. Its compact size, ruggedness certifications, multi-tool cameras, and battery life contribute to it being a great all-rounder in the budget flagship segment. As a choice for those seeking a slender but rugged smartphone with contemporary features, the Edge 60 Neo emerges as a great value-for-money option in 2025.
