Now, the Indian Railways and the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) have introduced a new feature to enable travelers to track and retrieve their lost or stolen mobile phones earlier and more effectively.
To simplify the process, the DoT’s ‘Sanchar Saathi’ portal has now been integrated with the Indian Railways’ ‘Rail Madad’ app. Through the link, passengers can complain about a stolen or lost phone directly on the Rail Madad app. As soon as a complaint is filed, it automatically goes to the Sanchar Saathi portal, where the phone gets blocked and tracked.
