Honor 500 series: Chinese smartphone maker Honor has launched a new smartphone series. This series includes the Honor 500 and Honor 500 Pro. These smartphones are equipped with an 8,000 mAh battery and run on MagicOS 10 based on Android 16. These smartphones are available in four colors.

Launched in China, the Honor 500 smartphone series is priced at CNY 2,699(roughly Rs. 34,000) for the 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage variant, CNY 2,999(roughly Rs. 37,000) for the 12 GB 512 GB variant, and CNY 3,299(roughly Rs. 41,400) for the 16 GB 512 GB variant. The Honor 500 Pro is priced at CNY 3,599(roughly Rs. 45,200) for the 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage variant, CNY 3,899(roughly Rs. 48,700) for the 12 GB 512 GB variant, CNY 4,199(roughly Rs. 52,700) for the 16 GB 512 GB variant, and CNY 4,799(roughly Rs. 60,300) for the 16 GB 1 TB variant.
Features of Honor 500 and Honor 500 Pro
The binary- SIM Honor 500 Pro features a 6.55- inch Full HD (1,264 × 2,736 pixels) LTPO OLED display with a refresh rate of over to 120Hz and a peak brightness level of 6,000 nits. The smartphone’s triadic hinder camera unit includes a 200- megapixel wide- angle camera, a 50- megapixel telephoto camera, and a 12- megapixelultra-wide camera. A 50- megapixel frontal camera is provided for selfies and video calls. The Honor 500 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. It features an in- display point detector for security. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi- Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, Beidou, NFC, OTG, and a USB Type- C port. The smartphone’s 8,000 mAh battery supports 80 W wired charging.
The Honor 500 features a similar display and software. The processor is the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. The Honor 500’s binary hinder camera unit includes a 200- megapixel wide- angle camera and a 12- megapixel macro camera. The smartphone also has a 50- megapixel frontal camera. The Honor 500’s 8,000 mAh battery supports 80W wired fast charging and 27W rear wired charging. The smartphone means 155.8 x 74.2 x 7.75 mm and weighs roughly 198 grams.
