Galaxy Z Flip7 FE Price: Samsung looks to flip the foldable smartphone trend once more, only this time with a more affordable option. The Galaxy Z Flip7 FE will debut at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event in New York this July. Unlike its pricier siblings, the Z Fold7 and Z Flip7, the Flip7 FE is meant to bring the traditional flip-phone experience to more people without the hefty price tag.
A Flip Phone That Won’t Dent the Wallet
According to a South Korean report in SisaJournalE, the Galaxy Z Flip7 FE could debut in its home market at a price of around KRW 1 million. That is around $740 in the US, €645 in Europe, or £545 in the UK. Though global price differences are created due to local taxes and shipment, GSMArena proposes that the U.S. standard model should cost about $799, which is far below the predicted $1,099 launch price of the standard Z Flip7.
Estimated Global Prices and Capacities
UK and European consumers might be required to pay slightly higher costs according to standard local pricing traditions. In Europe, the Flip7 FE would start at €799, and in the UK it would be around £699. While more than their predecessors, these are still an affordable entry into Samsung’s foldies. Storage will probably be available in 128GB and 256GB configurations for the Flip7 FE, and the starting Z Flip7 might have 256GB and 512GB options.
Hardware May Be Familiar Territory
Flip7 FE would use the Exynos 2400e or regular Exynos 2400 chip, depending on the country. This would be a downgrade from the Z Flip7’s superior Exynos 2500 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Elite processors. Rumors claim that the Flip7 FE might be virtually identical to the Z Flip6, with the same internals. It is said to come with a 3.4-inch external cover screen and a 6.7-inch main foldable screen, along with a 3,700mAh battery supporting 25W fast charging.
A Strategic Launch to Expand Foldable Availability
Even though the Flip7 FE will not feature the premium specs of the standard Z Flip7, it’s a strategic move by Samsung to make foldables mainstream. With a more affordable foldable without compromising on the fundamental experience, Samsung is targeting more individuals. The phone is scheduled to be released on July 10, 2025, and if priced right, it can have a serious impact on foldable adoption among mainstream customers.
