TECNO POVA Curve 5G: TECNO has launched its first smartphone in the newly introduced Curve series by unveiling the POVA Curve 5G in India. Featuring a premium design and loaded with mid-range performance, this phone features a curved AMOLED display, 5G support, and premium features for an affordable price tag. It will go on sale from June 5 and comes in various variants with several launch offers.

TECNO POVA Curve 5G Design and Display

The device boasts a 6.78-inch Full HD+ 3D curved AMOLED screen with silky-smooth 144Hz refreshing rate. The display boasts 1300 nits peak brightness and Gorilla Glass 5 protection, assuring rich visuals as well as strength. It also has 2304Hz PWM dimming, which helps provide less eye strain even with long hours of use. The thin look and curved body make it stylish.

Camera Capabilities

On the back, it accommodates a 64MP Sony IMX682 primary sensor with an f/1.7 aperture and a 2MP portrait camera with an f/2.4 aperture, supplemented by LED flash. The selfie shooter is a 13MP camera with an f/2.2 aperture. Both cameras on both sides can record 4K at 30fps, making it a great pick for budget-conscious content creators.

TECNO offers a range of AI features under its Ella AI suite like AI Call Assistant, AI Auto Answer, multi-language support, and AI Voiceprint Noise Suppression. The device features stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos tuning, dual microphones, in-display fingerprint, IR sensor, and IP64 rating for dust and splash protection.

Connectivity features include a broad range of options such as 5G SA/NSA bands (n1, n3, n5, n8, n28B, n38, n40, n41, n77, n78), dual 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, NFC, and USB Type-C.

Price and Availability in India

TECNO POVA Curve 5G will go on sale from June 5 on Flipkart. The 6GB + 128GB version comes with a price tag of Rs.15,999, whereas the 8GB + 128GB version is available for Rs.16,999. The phone’s high-end model will also come to offline retailers. Offers on launch include increased warranty, free screen exchange, and a possibility to win a scooter or Royal Enfield. Offline purchasers can opt for no-cost EMI starting from Rs.57 per day. It’s available in Magic Silver, Neon Cyan, and Geek Black colors.
