Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2: In the previous episode of the show, we saw that the police arrested Angad (Rohit Suchanti) after his 38th anniversary party. The fourth episode begins with the police arresting Angad from Shanti Niketan in the late hours of the night. The police say that Angad is accused of drunk driving and causing an accident. The blood test report also confirms this, but Angad denies the allegations.
In this difficult time, Mihir supports his son, but Tulsi (Smriti Irani) refuses to believe Angad. At the police station, Angad says that he was not driving at the time of the accident, and he was also not drunk. When he reveals the name of the real culprit, Mihir believes him, but Tulsi still believes him to be guilty.
Tulsi’s tough decision
At home, Mihir is apprehensive about Angad. Gayatri Chachi takes advantage of this opportunity and says that only Hemant can save Angad, after which Hemant cancels all his important meetings. When Hemant brings the bail papers, Mihir is about to sign them, but Tulsi stops him.
Tulsi says that Angad will not get bail until he proves himself innocent. She discusses her family’s principles and states that a culprit should not be granted bail.
A big revelation that will change the story
After Tulsi’s decision, Gayatri Chachi reveals a big secret: Angad, Pari and Ritik are not the real children of Mihir and Tulsi. Tulsi adopted them after her sister Kesar’s death. Everyone is shocked to hear this. But Pari and Ritik speak in favour of their mother (Tulsi) and say that she never discriminated against them. The family goes through this emotional phase, and Tulsi prays for a ray of hope.
Who will save Angad?
On the other hand, a young Maharashtrian girl, who lives in a chawl, acts like Tulsi and saves the holy Tulsi plant in the rain. Meanwhile, it is revealed that the CCTV footage of the accident was deleted to save Angad’s friend, Sameer. A Mumbai Traffic Police officer, who was involved in all this, is the brother of the Maharashtrian girl.
