His daughter Suhana Khan has already made her Bollywood debut with ‘The Archies’, and now his son Aryan Khan is all set to try his luck with his first series, ‘The Bands of Bollywood’.

Netflix announced this much-awaited series on February 3, which is Aryan’s first project as a filmmaker and director. Produced by Aryan’s mother, Gauri Khan, under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment, the teaser of this series is very interesting. “Picture saloon se baaki hai lekin…” but the director stops him and asks for another take. After several attempts, Shah Rukh gets annoyed and asks, “Tere baap ka raj hai kya?” Aryan Khan, standing behind the camera, is shown answering with a simple “yes”. Fans are liking this teaser video very much.

Shahrukh Khan praised Aryan.

At the streaming service’s 2025 slate announcement event, Shah Rukh Khan started this project with great excitement. He said the show’s name is ‘The Bands of Bollywood’. Praising Aryan’s dedication to this project, he said, “Aryan has worked very hard on it, and not only him, but Bilal, Manav, Ankit, Dev and many others have also contributed to this series over the years. Hard work pays off only when the audience is entertained.”
