Elli AvRam Reacted to Dating Rumours with Salman Khan: Recently, Swedish-Greek actress Elli Avram and popular content creator Ashish Chanchlani made their fans jump with joy on social media. The two shared a very cute picture of themselves together, which has heated up the market of happy rumors. The caption with the photo simply read “Finally❤️✨”, which convinced fans that they are making their relationship official. In no time, the comment section was filled with heart emojis and excited guesses.

When ‘Bigg Boss’ made Elli a part of the headlines

Long before these rumors with Ashish, Elli had made her mark in India. She first came into the limelight by participating in the reality show ‘Bigg Boss’ season 7 in 2013. What caught everyone’s attention at that time was her relationship with the show’s host Salman Khan. The ‘Sultan’ actor was seen liking Elli a lot in the show. Even after coming out of the house, she was often seen at Salman’s family functions and parties. Naturally, this started a slew of gossips and link-up stories.

‘These rumours make me laugh’

Elli did not let these rumours get to her. In an earlier interaction with Hindustan Times, she had revealed how little these things affect her. She had said, “I don’t really care. I don’t respond to these rumours and articles. They make me kind of laugh. I don’t even believe them because I feel it will only lead to more gossip. So if they want to talk about it, I can’t stop them.”

Salman was just a mentor

Though there was a lot of gossip about him, Elli admitted that she found a close friend and mentor in the ‘Bodyguard’ star. Talking about this, she said, “He gave me a lot of attention on the show and I will always be grateful to him for that. There have been times when I was stuck while making a decision and for help and guidance, I went to him when I was confused.”

‘Salman made my career’ claims dismissed

It wasn’t just romance rumours. At one point, people had also claimed that all the work that Elli got in the film industry was all thanks to Salman Khan. But Elli was quick to reveal the truth. Refuting these claims, she said, “It’s all a big lie. My only godfather is my own (biological) father. My parents have supported me, whether it’s guidance or financially. So, all the credit for my success goes to him and no one else.”

Still waiting for an official announcement

Coming back to Elli and Ashish, while fans have almost declared them a couple after their cute picture, the two are yet to officially confirm anything. This is not the first time that Aly and Ashish have got fans talking. In January too, the two were spotted together at an awards night. They also posed on the red carpet, with Aly’s hand on Ashish’s arm. At the time, many thought that it might be for a project or just a friendly pose. But now, after this fresh cozy picture, fans are more sure than ever that something special is brewing!
