UP LT Grade Teacher Exam 2026 Schedule Released. UPPSC LT Grade Exam Date. The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released new exam dates for the LT Grade Teacher Recruitment 2025. The Commission has announced the preliminary exam schedule for a total of 9 subjects and uploaded it to its official website. More than 1.2 million candidates have applied for this recruitment.
If you have applied for the UPPSC Assistant Teacher Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) preliminary exam in 2025, the exam dates have been announced. The commission has announced the preliminary exam schedule for nine subjects: Social Science, Biology, English, Physical Education, Art, Agriculture and Horticulture, Urdu, and Music. When will the UP LT Grade TGT Exam be held?
According to the notification issued by the Commission, the LT Grade TGT Recruitment Exam will begin on January 17, 2026, and will be conducted in multiple phases until January 25, 2026. The exams will be held in two shifts (9 am to 11 am and 3 pm to 5 pm).

Exam dates for six subjects have been finalised so far.
Previously, on September 20, 2025, the Commission had already announced the exam dates for six subjects-Mathematics, Hindi, Sanskrit, Home Science, and Commerce. Now, the schedule for 14 out of 15 subjects has been finalised.
Recruitment Positions and Application Numbers
Under this recruitment process, the Commission invited applications for a total of 7,466 posts in 15 subjects. These include:
- Male Category: 4,860 posts
- Female Category: 2,525 posts
- Differently Abled Quota: 21 posts.

The Commission has received over 1.236 million applications for this recruitment, one of the largest numbers ever for teacher recruitment examinations in Uttar Pradesh.
