NEET PG 2025 Counselling Starts. If you’ve been waiting for NEET PG Counselling 2025, there’s some great news. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has finally announced the dates for NEET Counselling 2025. This year, the counselling process will be conducted in four rounds, with the last date for registration for Round 1 set for November 5, 2025. Candidates can apply for admission to MD, MS, PG Diploma, Post-MBBS DNB, and NBEMS Diploma courses by visiting the MCC’s official website, mcc.nic.in.

NEET PG 2025 counselling has begun on October 17, 2025, while the entire first round will continue until November 18, 2025. Below is the complete schedule for Round 1-
- Registration begins: October 17, 2025
- Registration deadline: November 5, 2025 (3 p.m.)
- Choice filling: October 28 to November 5, 2025 (11:55 a.m. to 11:55 p.m.)
- Choice locking: November 5, 2025 (4 p.m. to 11:55p p.m. p.m. Seat allocation process: November 6 to 7, 2025
- Seat allocation results: November 8, 2025
- Reporting deadline: November 9 to 15, 2025
- Dates for subsequent rounds also announced
According to the MCC notification, Round 2 counselling will be held between November 18 and December 6, 2025. Following this, the third round will be held from December 8 to 28, 2025, and the stray vacancy round will be held from December 19, 2025, to January 15, 2026. The dates for all rounds will be updated sequentially on the MCC website.

Candidates wishing to participate in Round 1 can easily register using the steps below.
- First, visit the MCC official website, mcc.nic.in.
- Click on the “NEET PG 2025 Counselling Round 1 Registration” link on the homepage.
- Enter the required information, such as name, roll number, email ID, and mobile number.
- Following this, log in and pay the fees online.
- After successful registration, carefully verify your information.
- Finally, be sure to print out the application form for future reference.

What to keep in mind during counselling
Candidates should prepare their documents in advance, such as their NEET PG scorecard, MBBS degree certificate, internship completion certificate, registration certificate, etc.
Select your preferred colleges carefully when filling out and locking in choices.
Once locked, choices cannot be changed.
It is mandatory to reach the selected college within the reporting date; otherwise, the seat may be cancelled.

What is the purpose of NEET PG Counselling?
The purpose of NEET Counselling is to ensure merit-based admission to MD, MS, and PG Diploma courses in medical institutions across the country. In addition to 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats, this process also applies to seats in deemed universities, central universities, ESIC, and AFMS colleges.
