UGC NET Exam Date 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the subject-wise schedule for the UGC NET December session examination. According to the notification, the UGC NET December exam will be conducted between December 31, 2025, and January 7, 2026. The exams for different subjects will be held on different days and shifts. The examination will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.
The UGC NET exam is essential for candidates seeking to become Assistant Professors or obtain a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).
Exam Dates and Shift Timings
According to the notification issued by the NTA, the examination will be conducted on December 31, and January 2, 3, 5, 6, and 7, 2026. The exam will be held in two shifts. When will the Admit Card be released?
The admit card for the UGC NET 2025 December Exam may be released 4 days before the exam. The admit card will contain the exam date, shift, exam centre, and important instructions. Candidates are advised to check the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in regularly. The UGC NET Exam City Slip will be released 10 days before the exam. The city slip may be released online on December 21 or 22.
