UPSC IES/ISS Exam Date 2026 Out: The Union Public Service Commission has released the official exam schedule for the IES and ISS examinations. Applicants can view and download the exam schedule through the UPSC’s official website, upsc.gov.in. Candidates who have registered for the UPSC IES/ISS 2026 exam will soon be able to appear for the exam. A total of 44 candidates will be recruited under this recruitment process.
When will the exam begin?
The UPSC will conduct the Indian Economic Service and Indian Statistical Service examinations on June 19, 20, and 21, 2026. Approximately two months remain before the exam begins. The exam will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift will run from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, while the second shift will run from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
How to Download the UPSC IES/ISS 2026 Admit Card
Candidates must first visit the official website, upsc.gov.in.
Click on the ‘Admit Card’ section on the website’s homepage.
Click on the ‘UPSC IES/ISS Admit Card 2026’ link.
Enter your login details, such as your registration number and password.
Once the login details are entered, the admit card will appear on the screen.
Finally, download the Admit Card and print it.
What are the IES and ISS exams?
The IES exam is for engineering graduates who wish to work in technical departments of the Government of India. It is conducted by the UPSC. The exam consists of three parts: preliminary, main (written/descriptive questions), and interview. Successful candidates are appointed as engineers in government departments.
The ISS exam is for those who wish to work in government statistics and data. It is conducted by the UPSC and consists of the preliminary, main, and interview stages.
