UGC NET December 2025 Admit Card: Preparations for the UGC NET December 2025 session exam are in their final stages. Candidates awaiting their admit cards for this exam are eager. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the UGC NET December 2025 exam admit card very soon. Candidates who have successfully applied can download their hall tickets through the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in. According to media reports, the admit card could be released at any time. Latest reports indicate the admit card may be released on December 27 or 28.

When will the exam begin?
According to the released schedule, the UGC NET December 2025 exam will begin on December 31, 2025. This exam will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode in various cities across the country. Complete information regarding the exam centre and shift will be available to candidates on their admit cards. Admit cards are usually released three or four days before the exam date. However, the official date for the admit card release has not yet been announced.

Important Documents
After downloading the admit card, candidates must carefully read the instructions given on it. At the examination centre, candidates must carry their admit card, a valid photo ID (e.g., Aadhaar, PAN, or Voter ID), and a passport-size photograph. Entry to the examination centre will not be permitted without the admit card and ID card.

What is the UGC NET exam?
The UGC NET exam is conducted twice a year. It determines the eligibility of candidates for ‘Assistant Professor’ and ‘Junior Research Fellowship’ in Indian universities and colleges. This exam is conducted in more than 83 subjects and consists of two papers, for which a total of three hours are given to complete.

City Intimation Slip Released
The NTA released the UGC NET December 2025 City Intimation Slip last week. The city slip informs candidates about the city where their examination centre is located. However, it does not include the exam centre address or entry instructions.
