Bihar Board Class 11 Admission: Students in Bihar can now prepare themselves as the Bihar Board is ready to start the admission process for Class 11 from April 24, 2025. With Arts, Science, and Commerce streams being offered, the online application facility provides ease of access to thousands of students. Bihar Board Inter Admission Starts from April 24
The Bihar School Examination Board will begin accepting online applications for admission in Class 11 from April 24, 2025. The students can apply online through the official website of OFSS at ofssbihar.in. This service is available for those who wish to seek admission in Arts, Science, or Commerce streams. All students, including those from ICSE and CBSE boards, can fill in their applications. CBSE students are free to apply after their result is out. Last Date to Apply is May 3, 2025.
Process of Application Fee and Merit List
As a prerequisite for completing the application, students will have to pay an application fee of Rs.350. That’s Rs.50 more than last year. Applications are not acceptable unless they pay this fee. As soon as applications close, the board will issue a merit list based on the marks of the students, category, and criteria of reservation. According to this list, schools and colleges will be assigned. Total three merit lists will be published. If the name of a student doesn’t find place in any of them, he/she will also get an opportunity through spot admission.
Admission Based on Merit and Reservation
The choice of Bihar Board Inter Admission is completely on the basis of merit. Marks of the students, reservation by category, and number of candidates will determine their position in the list. Schools and colleges will be allocated on the basis of the merit list, and admission will continue accordingly. Students not selected on the first list will be kept in mind while considering the second and third lists.

Students can submit their applications through several mediums. This is facilitated by accepting applications through Vasudha Kendras, District Registration-cum-Counselling Centres, and Cyber Cafés. Important Dates to Remember
The Class 12 results were announced on March 25, 2025, and Class 10 results were announced on March 29, 2025. Class 11 applications begin on April 24 and close on May 3, 2025. Remembering these dates is important so that students do not miss their opportunity for admission.

Though the application form can be submitted online, students should have important documents in hand. These could be mark sheets, category certificates (if the candidate has secured any category), passport-size photographs, and school leaving certificates.
