NEET UG 2025 Result : The result of NEET UG 2025 has been released by the National Testing Agency on 14 June 2025. Seeing the result this time, it is clear that the level of the exam was more difficult than ever before. Students were expecting that like last time, this time also some students would score above 700, but this time it did not happen.

No perfect score this time

There was not a single student in the 2025 exam who got full 720 marks out of 720. Whereas last year 17 students surprised everyone by getting full marks out of 720. This time the maximum score has been 686.

No one got more than 700 marks this time

This time there is no candidate who got more than 700 marks. There were only 1332 candidates who got more than 600 marks. Last year the number of people who scored above 700 was more than 350. This clearly shows that this time the paper has been more difficult than before.

Change in the list of toppers this time

The top rank of NEET UG 2025 has been secured by Mahesh Kumar Keswani from Hanumangarh, Rajasthan. He has got All India Rank 1 by scoring 686 marks. At the same time, Utkarsh Avadhiya of Madhya Pradesh has got the second position and Krishang Joshi of Maharashtra has got the third rank. Mrinal Kishore Jha from Delhi has got the fourth rank this time.

The number of students passing also decreased this time

A total of 22.09 lakh candidates had participated in the NEET 2025 exam. Out of these, about 12.36 lakh candidates have passed the exam. This number is less than last year. In the year 2024, about 13.15 lakh students had passed the exam and the total number of candidates was more than 23.33 lakh.

Girls were ahead

This time the number of girls among the passing candidates has been more than boys. About 7.2 lakh girl students have passed the exam, while the number of boys who passed was close to 5.14 lakh.

No controversy this time regarding the result

While last year there were controversies due to top scores and same numbers, nothing like this has been seen this time. There was a difference in the scores of the top ranked students and there was no perfect scorer, due to which no question was raised about the merit.
