JEE Main 2026 – Session 2 Registration Ends TODAY, Registration Link Closing at 9 PM at jeemain.nta.nic.in

JEE Mains Registration 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the JEE Main exam every year. It provides admission to popular institutes across the country, such as NITs, IIITs, and other government engineering colleges. Registration for the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 (April session) conducted by the NTA is open until today, February 25, 2026.

Candidates can apply through the official JEE Main website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. As with JEE Main Session 1, millions of candidates are scheduled to appear for Session 2. The application process for the JEE Main Session 2 exam began on February 1, 2026, and registration can continue until February 25, 2026, on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. The date will not be extended after this date.

JEE Mains Registration 2026: How to register for JEE Main 2026 Session 2
First, visit the official JEE Main website, jeemain.nta.nic.in
Click on the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Registration link.
Enter your details to register as a new candidate.
Log in by entering your registration number and password.
You can fill out your application form.
Then pay the fees.
Finally, download the form and print it.

When will the exam be held?
The entrance exam is expected to be held from April 2 to April 9. City intimation slips for the exam may be released 10 days before the exam. Admit cards may also be released 4 days before the exam.

Exam Pattern
The Session 2 exam is conducted in computer mode. Questions will be MCQ-based. Questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry, and Math. The Session 2 exam carries a total of 300 marks, with negative marking.

The two-session system of JEE Main provides students with flexibility. If a candidate performs better in Session 2, only that score will be considered when preparing the merit list.
