GATE Admit Card 2026: The admit card for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026 will not be released at this time. IIT Guwahati will announce the new admit card release date later. The admit card was initially scheduled for release on January 2, 2026, but the release date has now been postponed. An official statement on the GATE 2026 website says, “The GATE 2026 admit card release date has been postponed. The new date will be announced very soon. The paper schedule has been released. Mock test links are now live.” IIT Guwahati will soon release the new admit card date on the official website.
Mock Tests Active on the Website
IIT Guwahati has activated the mock test links for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering examination on the website. Candidates can now participate in mock tests to better prepare for the exam.

When will the exam be held?
The GATE exam will be conducted on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026, at various examination centres across the country. This exam will be conducted in computer-based mode. The GATE exam results will be released on March 19, 2026.

To download the admit card, first visit the official website.
Now, click on the admit card section on the website’s homepage.
Click on the ‘GATE Admit Card 2026’ link.
Enter your login credentials.
After entering the login details, the admit card will open on your screen.
Finally, download your admit card and print it.
GATE 2026 will be conducted for 30 test papers. The test papers will be in English. Each GATE 2026 paper will be of 100 marks in total, General Aptitude is common for all papers (15 marks), and the remaining paper will cover the respective test paper syllabus (85 marks). This is a national-level entrance exam required for admission to postgraduate programs in engineering, technology, architecture, science, commerce, arts, and humanities.
