Big Explosion In Maharashtra: A fire broke out in a chemical factory in Dombivli in Thane district of Maharashtra. This accident occurred due to a boiler explosion on Thursday, in which four people died.
Deputy CM Devendra Fadavi’s informed that six people died in the accident, while 48 people were injured. More than four fire engines have reached the spot. 8 people responsible for this incident have been suspended.
Devendra Fadavi’s tweeted and said that unfortunately, 6 people have lost their lives and 48 have been injured in the Dombivli incident.
My deepest sympathies to the families who have lost their loved ones. The injured are being treated at AIIMS, Neptune, and Global hospitals and all assistance is being provided.
I pray for his speedy recovery. Various teams and administrative officials are on the spot for rescue operations.
8 people suspended
Devendra Fadavi’s tweeted, “The incident of boiler explosion at Amudan Chemical Company in Dombivli MIDC is tragic. 8 people have been suspended. Arrangements have been made to treat the injured and more ambulances have been kept ready. I have written to the Collector.I have written to the Collector. Have discussed and too are reaching the spot within 10 minutes. Teams of NDRF, TDRF, and Fire Brigade have been called.

Bodies of four people found – Chief Fire Officer
Chief Fire Officer Namdev Chaudhary said there was a blast at around 1:20 am. Till now we have found 4 bodies, of which 2 are women and 2 are men. Efforts to extinguish the fire are ongoing, the fire is under control.
