LIC Scheme– Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) has launched a special scheme for women (LIC New Scheme). Under the Women Career Agent (MCA) Scheme, women can now make their career in this sector by becoming ‘Bima Sakhi’. Under this, they can earn up to Rs 7,000 per month initially. This initiative is a big step towards making women self-reliant and giving them employment opportunities.

Who can become a Bima Sakhi?

The age of the woman applying for this scheme should be at least 18 years and maximum 70 years. The minimum educational qualification for this is 10th pass. Note that this is not a permanent job in LIC, but a stipend-based agency opportunity.

How much will be the earnings?

Women selected under the MCA scheme will get stipend in this way:

First year: Rs 7,000 per month

Second year: Rs 6,000 per month (if 65% of policies sold in first year remain active)

Third year: Rs 5,000 per month (same conditions as second year apply)

To receive the stipend every year, the woman agent must sell at least 24 new policies and earn a commission of up to Rs 48,000 (excluding bonus) in the first year.

LIC employees and their close relatives (spouse, children, parents, siblings, in-laws, etc.)

Retired LIC Staff

Former agents seeking reappointment.
