What is required to view the authentication history?
To use this UIDAI feature, you must have a 12-digit Aadhaar number or a 16-digit Virtual ID. The mobile number linked to your Aadhaar must be active, as OTPs are sent to this number. For security reasons, this service cannot be accessed from an unlinked mobile number.
How to View Aadhaar History for the Last Six Months
Checking your authentication history is a simple process that takes just a few minutes. Visit the UIDAI’s official website and select the “Aadhaar Authentication History” option in the “My Aadhaar” section. Enter your Aadhaar number or VID, fill in the captcha, and click “Send OTP.” Upon entering the OTP, a complete log of the last six months opens, detailing the date, time, and location of each Aadhaar authentication.

What Measures to Take for Additional Security
UIDAI advises citizens to contact the service provider who submitted the request if any entries are unrecognizable. Furthermore, if necessary, Aadhaar biometrics can be temporarily locked through the online portal or the mAadhaar app. This will prevent your fingerprint and iris data from being used for any verification, significantly increasing security.
