Calls will be made without a network

Let us tell you that the technology is also considered special because in this you will not need any special device hardware or software, and you will be able to use voice calls, video calls, and the internet from a regular smartphone; that is, you will not have to depend on the network. You will be able to make video and audio calls without a network.

At the same time, AST Space Mobile has already achieved success in testing this technology. During this testing, no special mobile phone was used, but calls were made through regular phones. In June 2023, the company achieved a 4G download speed of more than 10 Mbps for this service. At the same time, 5G voice call was tested for the first time in September 2023.

Vi has not yet made any announcement regarding the launch of its satellite service, but the company is going to reveal it soon.
