At the same time, AST Space Mobile has already achieved success in testing this technology. During this testing, no special mobile phone was used, but calls were made through regular phones. In June 2023, the company achieved a 4G download speed of more than 10 Mbps for this service. At the same time, 5G voice call was tested for the first time in September 2023.
