Meanwhile, the price of one kilogram of silver has risen by ₹3,215, reaching ₹231,000. Prior to this, on Friday, the price was ₹228,000 per kilogram.
According to ibjarates.com, based on rates released on the morning of April 6, 2026, the price of 995-purity gold stands at ₹147,299 per 10 grams—up from the previous trading day’s closing price of ₹146,021 per 10 grams. Meanwhile, the rate for 916-purity gold (i.e., 22-carat gold) is ₹135,468 per 10 grams, having closed at ₹134,293 per 10 grams on the previous trading day.

However, rates are not released on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays declared by the Central Government. Consequently, gold rates were not released on April 3 due to the Good Friday holiday, nor on April 4 and 5, which fell on a Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
