Vande Bharat Sleeper Launch Date
Last month, while speaking at an event in Bhavnagar, Gujarat, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav announced that the Vande Bharat Sleeper train will be launched soon. He said that Vande Bharat Sleeper is coming in September. However, its date has not been officially announced yet and it is also not confirmed when it will start.
In a written reply in Rajya Sabha on July 25, 2025, the Railway Minister said that the first rake of Vande Bharat Sleeper Train is about to start. The minister said that the first prototype of Vande Bharat Sleeper trainset has already been prepared. Many tests have been done regarding Sleeper Vande Bharat and after all the tests, preparations are underway to launch it.
Vande Bharat Sleeper Train Route
The route of India’s first Vande Bharat Sleeper Train has not been decided yet. But according to sources, the route of Vande Bharat Sleeper Train can be between Delhi to Patna and Darbhanga or Sitamarhi. It will start before the festive season before Diwali and Chhath Puja.
Vande Bharat Sleeper Train Ticket Price
The price of the ticket has not been decided yet. Sources say that when the route of the train will be confirmed by the Railway Board, then the final ticket price will also be announced in time.
What will be the speed
Vande Bharat Sleeper train has been designed to run at a maximum speed of 180 kmph. Talking about the facilities, it has a reading light with charging facility, internal display panel and security cameras, modular pantry, and special berths and toilets for Divyang passengers.
