Why is it important to deactivate deceased individuals’ Aadhaar?

According to UIDAI, deactivating a deceased individual’s Aadhaar number can lead to problems such as identity theft and fraud. It’s important to note that Aadhaar numbers are never immediately assigned to another individual.
