5.81 lakh farmers in Gonda are benefiting from the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. According to a report, 2.80 lakh farmers in the district have not completed their farmer registration. The difficulties of approximately 300,000 farmers who have not completed their farmer registration are expected to increase.

Important Points About the Scheme

The target is to register 5.81 lakh farmers in the state. To achieve this, approximately 2,000 public service centres have been established, where farmers can register. Without a farmer ID, farmers will not be able to receive the instalment amount under the scheme. Furthermore, compensation for crop loss due to a natural disaster will also be denied.

Farmers can easily check their instalment amount under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. To do this, farmers need to visit the scheme’s official website. Click on “Know Your Status” under the Farmer Corner. Enter your Aadhaar number or registration number. Verify the OTP received and proceed to check your outstanding status.

The Modi government launched this scheme in 2019. So far, the government has issued 20 instalments,000 each under the scheme. Farmers are eagerly awaiting the next installinstalmentovernment releases a ₹2,000 instalment every four months. Three instalments are available annually.
