Silver Price Today: Along with gold, silver prices are also surging. Silver is setting new records every day. Prices have crossed the Rs 2 lakh per kilogram mark. According to the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the cost of silver was recorded at Rs 2,18,983 per kilogram on December 24. On Friday, silver prices on the Multi-Commodity Exchange (MCX) rose by Rs 8,951 to reach a new record high of Rs 2,32,741 per kilogram in futures trading.

Meanwhile, according to a GoodReturns report, silver prices in India today reached Rs 2,34,100 per kilogram. In Chennai, the rate for one kilogram of silver reached Rs 2,45,100. Therefore, if you are considering buying silver, you should check the latest rates before making a purchase.
