Indian Railways carries lakhs of passengers every day across the country. Many times, it has been seen that passengers play songs loudly at night or watch videos and reels on their phones. This disturbs the sleep and rest of others.

To stop this, Railways has made a new rule. According to the “10 pm rule,” passengers must keep peace in the train after 10 pm. If any passenger plays songs loudly, watches videos, reels, or makes noise at night, action will be taken against them.

This rule will apply to all trains. Railways said this step has been taken for the comfort and good sleep of all passengers so that everyone can travel peacefully.

Action if rules are broken

Railways said if anyone breaks this rule, they can get a fine. Railway staff can act quickly if a passenger complains. Experts say this will make night travel better and people can sleep well.
