PNB: New Rs 50,000 Withdrawal Limit for Debit Card Users – Check the Reason

PNB: Punjab National Bank (PNB) has halved the daily cash withdrawal limit for select debit cards (ATM cards). Currently, some debit cards allowed daily withdrawals of up to Rs 100,000. This limit has now been halved, allowing daily withdrawals of only Rs 50,000. These new debit card rules will come into effect on April 1, 2026. The bank has taken this decision to strengthen risk control and enhance customer security.

However, this change will not apply to all cards; only the limits have been reduced for select debit cards. PNB has revised the cash limits by dividing its debit cards into two categories. Cards with a limit of Rs 1 lakh have been reduced to Rs 50,000. Similarly, cards with a limit of Rs 1.50 lakh have been reduced to Rs 75,000.

You can withdraw only Rs 50,000 from these cards.
