These Farmers Will Receive ₹4,000
The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme is truly unique. To avail the benefits of the 23rd instalment, farmers must complete a few essential tasks. First and foremost, farmers should complete their e-KYC verification. Additionally, they should ensure their land records are verified, and their details are updated in the Farmer Registry to avoid facing any difficulties later on.
The previous instalment will also be received.
If a farmer did not receive the 22nd instalment in their account due to a failure to complete e-KYC, there is no need to worry. If you complete your e-KYC now, the funds for the previous (22nd) instalment will be released alongside the 23rd instalment. Consequently, farmers could receive a total of up to ₹4,000—meaning they will receive both instalments simultaneously.
When Was the 22nd Installment Released?
For your information, the 22nd instalment of ₹2,000 under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme was released on March 13, 2026. This instalment benefited over 90 million (9 crore) farmers.
Funds for farmers who failed to complete their e-KYC had remained pending in the interim. The Central Government launched this scheme in the year 2019. Since then, the government has consistently released an instalment of ₹2,000 every four months.
When can the next instalment be expected?
