PMAY-G 2025: New Survey Started, How to Apply for Rs 1.20 Lakh Housing Assistance

PM Awas Yojana: Good news for every common people. If your dream of owning a home hasn’t been fulfilled yet, you can do so under the PM Awas Yojana. This scheme is a central government scheme that benefits both urban and rural residents. Under this scheme, homes are provided to economically weaker sections. The survey for the PM Awas Yojana Rural has begun. Verification of the survey has also begun in some areas. After this process is completed, the names of eligible families will be added to the final list.

The government provides financial assistance of Rs 1.20 lakh for building a permanent house. In hilly areas, the amount is ₹1.30 lakh. Eligible families can avail the scheme by registering themselves in this survey. This step is considered a major step towards strengthening housing facilities in rural India.

Through the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) scheme, the Government of India provides financial assistance to citizens for the construction of permanent homes. The application process has been opened for citizens who have not yet completed the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) Gramin Survey. After completing the survey, eligible citizens will receive government assistance for home construction. The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) Gramin Survey 2025 is a major relief for economically disadvantaged families.

Eligibility for PM Awas Yojana Gramin

1. The citizen must be a permanent resident of India.

2. The citizen is homeless or living in a kutcha house.

3. The applicant or any member of his family should not be in government service.

4. The applicant should not be an income tax payer.

5. The beneficiary must have the necessary documents.

If an Indian citizen fraudulently benefits from the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) by submitting false documents, the entire amount of government assistance provided must be returned. If the fraud is widespread, the government can take strict action and send individuals to jail. Although there is no provision for this, the government can file a fraud case and send such individuals to jail. Therefore, fraud of any kind should be avoided.
