YASASVI Yojana 2025- If you are very good in studies, then difficulties cannot stop you from moving forward. One of the many scholarship schemes of the central government is the PM Yashasvi Yojana. Under this scheme, this is a very amazing scheme for meritorious students of economically backward, OBC and DNT category. Under this scheme, you will get scholarships at different levels from 9th class to post graduation.

Scholarships up to Rs 1.25 lakh are available from the central government. Apart from this, school-college fees up to Rs 2 lakh and laptops are also available in different categories. How to apply for this scheme, what is the eligibility, what documents will be required? Let’s know.

What is PM Yashasvi Yojana

The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has launched the PM-Yashasvi Yojana for OBC (Other Backward Classes), EBC (Economic Backward Class) and DNT (Denotified Nomadic Tribes) students, which aims to provide financial assistance for education from class 9 to post graduation. This scheme is a sub-scheme under the PM Yuva Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India for OBC and Others (PM-Yashasvi). The scheme aims to provide premium education to meritorious students of these categories.

This scheme also has 5 components. Pre Matric Scholarship, Post Matric Scholarship, Top Class School Education Scheme, Top Class College Education Scheme and Hostel Construction for Boys and Girls. Financial help is given at different levels in these components. In the Top Class Education Scheme, students are given scholarships up to Rs 1,25,000.

Eligibility

Applicant must be a citizen of India
Annual income of the family should not exceed Rs 2.5 lakh
The student must be from OBC, EBC or DNT category (not covered in SC/ST)
If any other scholarship is being taken, then one of them has to be given up
Scholarship will not be available if you repeat the same course
Only two children of the parents or guardians will get this scholarship

Top Class School Education

75,000 rupees to 9th and 10th class students
1,25,000 rupees to 11th-12th class students

Top Class College Education

Full tuition fees up to Rs 2 lakh for private institutions
3.72 lakh rupees for pilot training from a private flying club
3000 rupees per month for living and food
5000 rupees for books and stationery
Laptop or computer, its accessories, printer etc. worth Rs. 45,000

When will you get the PM Yashasvi Yojana scholarship?

The money will be distributed directly into the beneficiaries account through DBT mode
Payment will be made in instalments to be released before 15th August every year

How to apply for PM Yashasvi Yojana?

OBC/EBC/DNT students who are already studying in Top Class Schools (TCS) can apply for the scheme on National Scholarship Portal with the marks obtained in the final examination of the previous class.

First of all you have to register.

Click on New Registration from Applicant Corner here
Read the instructions carefully and proceed further
Fill in all the information asked for registration and register
After that you will get the User ID and Password
After registration, open the NSP portal and log in with your application ID and password
Select the scholarship and fill the application form
Upload the required documents and submit
The nodal officer of the school will do the online verification of the form
It will also be confirmed online by the state government
